I regret the apparent abandonment of my website, which must give the impression that box making is also in a state of abandonment.

This is absolutely not the case, it is only a temporary pause for matters of domestic necessity.

We are privileged to have a venerable stone cottage at the foot of the Ochil Hills while, over many years of less than diligent maintenance, has become “tired” and in need of being “refreshed”.

Such has been my main focus of work for a Scottish “wee while”.

That said, I have been refining and experimenting in the workshop, with the result that it now takes even longer to make any single item.

Regular posting, hopefully with images, will now resume.
